Cheese from the Altopiano di Asiago

The Caseificio Pennar Asiago was born in 1927, following the reconstruction after the war on the ruins of a very old shift cheese factory.

It lies on the mountains 1070 meters on sea level and is today a very important element in the history, economy, and dairy tradition of the Altopiano.

We are a cooperative of farmers built up by about 50 farms of the Altopiano di Asiago 7 Comuni.

With us you can discover how the Asiago DOP cheese “Mountain Product” has become, in the centuries, the highest expression of the deep link between men and the beautiful mountain land of the Altopiano, which is characterized by the green flow of pastures and woods.
